For the clearance of extra rush of Passenger, Southern Railway had advised this railway that they have decided to run Sabarimala Special Weekly Express Trains between Ernakulam-Bangalore City-Ernakulam (Train Nos.06345/06346—08 Trips in each direction) & Express Weekly Specials between Ernakulam-Bangalore City-Ernakulam(06347/06348--08 Trip in each direction), to the following timings, stoppages and dates of service, etc.
I. Accordingly, Train No. 06345 ERNAKULAM-BANGALORE CITY WEEKLY EXPRESS SPECIAL will depart from ERNAKULAM at 10-50 hrs. on Mondays, i.e. from 22nd Nov.’10 to 10th January, 2011 (08 Trips only) and arrive at BANGALORE CITY at 08-30 hrs., on Tuesdays.
En route, the Weekly Express Special will arrive/depart at Aluva at 19-10/19-15 hrs; Thrisur at 20-15/20-20 hrs., depart at Shoranur B. Cabin at 21-20 hrs., Palakkad at 21-50/21-55 hrs., Podanur at 22-50/23-00 hrs., Tiruppur at 23-48/23-50 hrs., Erode at 01-10/01-20 hrs.,Salem at 02-15/02-20 hrs; Tirupattur at 03-58/04-00 hrs., depart at Jolarpettai A Cabin at 04-50 hrs; Kuppam at 05-34/05-36 hrs., Bangarpet at 06-15/06-17 hrs; Whitefield at 07-13/07-15 hrs; Krishnarajapuram at 07-30/07-32 hrs. and arrive/depart at Bangalore Cantonment at 08-10/08-12 hrs.
In the return direction, Train No.06346 BANGALORE CITY-ERNAKULAM WEEKLY SUPER FAST SPECIAL will depart from BANGALORE CITY at 17-15 hrs. on Tuesdays, i.e. from 23rd Nov.10 to 11th January, 2011(08 Trips only) and arrive at ERNAKULAM at 04-20 hrs., on Wednesdays.

एनसीईआरटी ने दी राजस्थानी को मान्यता
नेशनल काउंसिल ऑफ एजुकेशनल रिसर्च एंड ट्रेनिंग एनसीईआरटी ने आठवें अखिल भारतीय विद्यालय शिक्षा सर्वेक्षण में राजस्थानी को मातृभाषा माना है। यह सर्वेक्षण देश भर के मान्यता प्राप्त सेकंडरी और सीनियर सेकंडरी स्कूलों में इन दिनों करवाया जा रहा है। राजस्थान में भी यह सर्वेक्षण शुरू हो चुका है। एक समाचार पत्र ने अनिवार्य शिक्षा कानून बनते ही राजस्थानी का मुद्दा उठाया था। इसे लेकर कई अभियान भी चले और यह मुद्दा संसद में भी कई बार गूंजा। खास बात ये है कि राजस्थानी भाषा को बच्चों की मातृभाषा के रूप में दर्ज करने वाला यह सर्वेक्षण सिर्फ राजस्थान नहीं, बल्कि पूरे देश में करवाया जा रहा है।
इससे यह जानकारी हासिल होगी कि किस प्रदेश में कितने बच्चे राजस्थानी को मातृभाषा के रूप में बोल रहे हैं। एनसीईआरटी का यह सर्वे राजस्थान में एसआईईआरटी की ओर से करवाया जा रहा है। एसआईईआरटी की निदेशक लक्ष्मी ननमा ने एक समाचार पत्र को बताया कि इस बार मातृभाषओं के रूप में देश की कुल 50 भाषाओं को चुना गया है। इसमें राजस्थानी भाषा का कोड 39 रखा गया है।
राजस्थानी के अलावा इस बार जीलियांग, रूसी, तिब्बती, स्पेनिश, पुर्तगाली, निकोबारी, मिजो, कोन्यक, खासी, सेमा, लोठा, लिंबू, लेपचा, लद्दाखी, ककबरक, गारो, बोधी, भूतिया, भोती, एओ, अंगामी जैसी भाषाओं को भी शामिल इस सर्वेक्षण में शामिल किया गया है। सर्वेक्षण में राजस्थानी जैसी भाषओं के स्थानीय बोलियों को लेकर किसी तरह का भ्रम नहीं हो, इसके लिए अलग से परिभाषा दी गई है। इसमें साफ तौर पर बताया गया है कि मातृभाषा का आशय घर, गली, पड़ोस, दोस्तों और सगे-संबंधियों के बीच बोली जाने वाली भाषाओं से है।
सर्वे में क्या?
इस सर्वेक्षण के विद्यालय सूचना प्रपत्र 2 के सवाल 9 में राजस्थानी को लेकर यह सुनिश्चित किया जा रहा है कि स्कूल में मातृभाषा के रूप में राजस्थानी के जरिए पढ़ाया जा रहा है या नहीं। प्रदेश के विभिन्न स्कूलों में भी इन दिनों यही सवाल पूछा जा रहा है। कई जगहों पर शिक्षकों ने कहा है कि अभी वे राजस्थानी में अधिकृत तौर पर नहीं पढ़ा रहे हैं, लेकिन जहां भी समस्या आती है, वहां वे राजस्थानी में ही छात्रों को जटिल शब्द, गणितीय सवाल या विषयवार प्रश्न समझा रहे हैं।

Now single card for travel across India

Union Urban Development Ministry will launch CMD/IMC
The day is not far away when people may be able to travel across the country carrying just a swipe card that can be used for all modes of transport. If plans by the Union Urban Development Ministry are successful, the common transport card, or 'Common Mobility Card'/ 'India Mobility Card', will be a reality by next year.
"These cards will function essentially as e-purses. What this means is that the money will be on the card - these can be swiped and the value would be automatically deducted," a senior Ministry official said. This would hence obviate the need to buy tickets. These cards would cover all forms of transport, including buses, trains, metros, ferries, taxis and even autorickshaws. The only sector that the ministry has not included in its India Mobility Card project is air travel.
While the cards will be introduced in chosen cities across various states to begin with, officials say that the goal is to have a single ticketing system tying the country. Work on the concept began a year ago.Apart from cards, the ministry is planning to give people the option of electronic chips, which they can buy and install in their mobile phones. "The money will then be deducted directly from the mobile phone, and anyone can recharge the amount as simply as they would do for cellular services," said the official.
Nationwide competition on the design
The concept note prepared by UTITSL noted that one of the major bottlenecks in making the use of public transport popular was the lack of seamless connectivity, particularly ticket integration. Single ticketing, it is hoped, would help change that. The ministry plans to extend the use of the card further to payment of tax on national highways, and even finally for utility payments, car parking, and shopping. "In Hong Kong, for instance, you can use the card for buying doughnuts," the official said. Obviously, the first step towards implementing the project would be installation of card reading validators on vehicles, railway platforms, bus depots etc. The difference between a bank card system like Mastercard and Visa and the proposed Common Mobility Card, say officials, is that in this case, the cards would carry value on their chip and provide payment authorisation directly, rather than through a central office. The Ministry will soon hold a nationwide competition on the design of the cards, their logo and their final name.
Six cities selected already
Delhi, Bangalore, Jaipur, Bhopal, Indore and Mumbai have already been chosen for the launch. "We are in the process of talking to the state governments to figure out how this can be done," the official said. A similar ticketing system is already in place in many cities across the world, including Hong Kong, Singapore, Beijing, Seattle, San Francisco, Stockholm, Gothenburg and Rome. Earlier this year, the Ministry engaged UTITSL, a fully owned PSU of the Ministry of Finance, to work on the concept of the Common Mobility Cards as well as the Automatic Fare Collection system, which is to be linked to the card system. UTITSL is a government agency and a non-banking financial institution under the Reserve Bank of India.
